Tyler Horta is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, and creative storyteller whose work is driven by experimentation, collaboration, and a desire to challenge conventional approaches to artistic expression. Tyler has developed experience across film, video production, writing, directing, editing, cinematography, and experimental storytelling, allowing him to explore creative expression through multiple mediums. His educational background at Columbia College Chicago further supported his development as a multidisciplinary creative.

He has also worked across a range of film productions in roles including writer, director, producer, editor, cinematographer, and production crew.
His independent experimental film work has also received recognition, including awards at the Global Film Festival, where one of his projects received recognition for Best Experimental Short Film and an Honorable Mention for Best Director.
