Hendrix utilizes a variety of art-based techniques to capture the essence and style of Hendrix. This big and bold piece draws the eye and the imagination of the observer.

Statement: This is one of my largest works to date, and required a bit of guidance from the staff in order to get the background to the level I was striving for. The portrait was painted atop a bold backdrop of melting red and gold colors elevating the figure to a size equal to that of the entire canvas.
